Environmental and Forest Biology is the largest and most diverse department at ESF, with faculty and students conducting research on numerous topics from the molecular to ecosystem scale. EFB graduate students span 11 MPS and 9 MS/PhD degree programs.

The department has access to numerous academic and research facilities in Illick Hall and beyond, allowing graduate students to ask and answer an almost limitless number of research questions.
