Cultural Adjustment

Living in a new culture can be a very challenging experience. Cultural adjustment is a normal process experienced by all international students. It is good to come prepared to deal with it while also trying to balance the new academic environment.

See general information about cultural adjustment:

As part of dealing with the adaptation to the new culture, the International Student Associations can be very helpful and supportive. SU and ESF count with several cultural/international student organizations, such as the Chinese (CSSA), African (ASU), Turkish (TurkishStAssc), etc. See the full list of Associations: [http://syr.orgsync.com/studentorganizations]
